ONE Culture project kick off meeting in Bordeaux

On January 29 and 30, 2025, the first transnational meeting of the partners of the One Culture Project, an Erasmus+ adult education project.

Partners from Belgium, France, Romania, Italy, Italy, Austria and the Netherlands met in the city of Bordeaux to set up this project which aims to fight against euroscepticism and nationalism using cultural heritage and The art as levers for connecting individuals and cultures.

For two years, we will design an activity kit for learners and trainers to work on transversal skills through art, creativity and culture. An online platform will be created to make available to the general public all the resources developed and collected during the project. Through intercultural and intergenerational actions, participants will be able to reflect and propose their visions of European culture. National exhibitions will be produced by the learners and an international exhibition will be held in Belgium at the end of the project.

The highlights of the transnational meeting:

For two days, the partners discussed:

  • The calendar and the key steps : An overview of the project's schedule and key milestones was presented, allowing all partners to project themselves into the coming months and to define deadlines.

  • The presentation of the first activities : National research on projects and creative methods were shared, enriching the collective thinking of partners.
  • Dissemination strategy and sustainability : The dissemination plan was presented and a workshop was dedicated to the sustainability plan, ensuring that the results of the project had a long-term impact.
  • Roles and responsibilities : Roles and responsibilities for the next stages of the project have been clearly defined, ensuring effective collaboration.

Several times of cohesion took place, allowing the partners to get to know each other better and to lay the foundations for a fluid and lasting cooperation.
